The Texas Triangle Collective (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas. We conduct tenant research and strategy across the Texas Triangle region—the metropolitan corridor spanning Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and College Station.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when you interact with our organization or participate in our research activities.
We may collect the following types of information when you voluntarily contact us or participate in our research:
Contact information — such as your name, email address, and phone number, when you reach out to us directly or agree to participate in a survey or research activity.
Survey and interview responses — information you share about your experiences as a renter, including housing conditions, lease terms, or interactions with landlords or property managers.
We do not collect personal information through automated means (such as cookies or tracking pixels) beyond standard server logs.
We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:
To conduct tenant research and produce aggregated, non-identifying reports on housing conditions in the Texas Triangle region.
To follow up with you about your participation in a specific research activity, if you have agreed to be contacted.
To respond to inquiries sent to us directly.
We will never use your information for marketing or commercial solicitation.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties. Research findings we publish or share externally are always aggregated and stripped of personally identifying details.
We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating our research activities (such as survey platforms), but only under agreements that prohibit those providers from using your information for any other purpose.
If you provide your contact information in connection with a research activity, we may contact you via email or phone for follow-up related to that activity. You may opt out of further contact at any time by emailing hello@thetexastriangle.org or by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as required by applicable law. Survey responses used in published research are retained in anonymized form only.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@thetexastriangle.org. We will respond within a reasonable time.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or participation in our activities after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
